Allegri: Higuain Important For Juve

Coach Massimiliano Allegri assured the publisher that Gonzalo Higuain was one of the important players for Juventus.

The Argentine national team striker scored two goals and one assists in four appearances in Serie A, plus the poor performances of Barcelona in midweek Champions League last week.

“As far as matches concerning Gonzalo, he played well in four matches and scored twice,” Allegri told a news conference ahead of Fiorentina.

“So far, Gonzalo, he has played four matches and scored two goals,” said Allegri in a press conference.

“Like all the strikers, there must be a period where he scored a lot of goals and a period where he suffered a goal drought.”

“It happened last year, Higuain never played in three or four games without a goal at all.”

“Paulo Dybala played so many matches last season goalless, but that’s different from this season.”

“It’s all natural, Gonzalo is a very important player for Juventus, so if he plays without scoring, it is a tragedy.”

Allegri was then asked if he will survive 4-2-3-1 throughout the season, or he is preparing another new tactic.

“I do not have a magic formula, I will put players in the field in formation according to the characteristics of the players who will perform.”
