“I think it will be good for us where we can see the many Chelsea fans here. We always see them always giving their support to us on Twitter and we also see them when we play in England.

“But it’s a bum that we can come to Asia so they can see us playing here as well.”

After a 3-2 defeat to Bayern, the Belgian keeper also admitted that his team did not play well when meet Carlo Ancelotti’s foster children, especially in the first round. Nevertheless Thibaut felt his side performed well when in the second half.

“We did not start so well,” Courtois added.

“I think that the first five minutes were fine but after that, they were able to take over the game and have plenty of room to do what they wanted and we could not find a solution.

“After conceding three goals, we were able to restore it and hold out better in the second half and they did not have a chance like they created in the first half.

“I think in the second half we are better and we have to keep up our next game and improve against Inter Milan and finish our pre-season well.”
